What Athena is
Athena is a personal assistant that lives inside your coding agent. It connects Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and your private knowledge vault under one shared set of rules, then helps capture information, prepare work, and find what matters.
The brain
The canonical knowledge vault lives in your own object storage. Athena finds things by meaning through a semantic brain, while Notion stays the human-facing surface for active work. athena init creates nine Notion databases.
The safety rules are structural. Email is draft-only. Destructive storage commands go back to you.
Runs on your tools
gws handles Gmail and Calendar. ntn handles Notion. S3 holds the canonical vault. hydradb provides semantic recall. Every action is an inspectable CLI call, and your knowledge stays in tools you control.
